Assisted Stretching Services
Feel Better, Move Better — Without Doing It All Yourself
Assisted stretching is exactly what it sounds like: a trained coach (that’s me!) guides your body through stretches, helping you reach positions and ranges of motion that are hard to access on your own. Unlike stretching alone, this is targeted, supported, and deeply effective — especially if you’re stiff, sore, or just not sure where to start.
What Are the Benefits of Assisted Stretching?
🌀 Better mobility and flexibility
Get deeper into your stretches safely — even if you feel tight all over.
💤 Less tension and stress
Feel your nervous system calm down as your body lets go of built-up tension.
⚡ More energy and focus
When your body moves better, your brain feels clearer too.
🪑 Pain relief from sitting too much
Target stiff hips, lower back tightness, and shoulder tension — the common effects of long hours at a desk.
🔄 Faster recovery from workouts
If you’re active (or just getting back into movement), assisted stretching can help prevent injury and ease soreness.
Who Is Assisted Stretching For?
You don’t need to be “flexible” to start — that’s why we do this work.
My clients are often:
- People who don’t love the gym, but want to move and feel better
- Stiff, stressed-out professionals who sit a lot and stretch… almost never
- Beginners looking for a safe, gentle entry point into body care
- Anyone who feels tight all the time but isn’t sure what to do about it
If that sounds like you, assisted stretching could be the support you didn’t know you needed.
What Makes This Different from Massage or Yoga?
| Massage | Yoga | Assisted Stretching |
|---|---|---|
| Passive | Movement-based (but self-led) | A mix: guided, interactive, and targeted |
| Feels good but doesn’t improve flexibility long-term | May not target your tightest areas | Designed to improve mobility, not just feel good |
| You lie there | You lead the movement | You partner with a coach who moves you |
FAQs
Is assisted stretching painful?
Not at all. We stay in a pain-free range, and you’re always in control. The goal is to feel release, not strain.
How long are sessions?
Sessions can be 30, 45 or 60 minutes, and include assessment, guided stretching, and breathwork or mobility drills.
How often should I do it?
That depends on your goals — but most clients feel a difference even after the first session. Once a week is a great place to start.
Do I need to be flexible already?
Nope! Many clients come in because they feel tight and inflexible. You’ll feel supported every step of the way.
Is this like PNF stretching or functional range conditioning?
Some techniques overlap! I integrate methods from functional mobility, nervous system regulation, and active/passive stretching. But we’ll keep it beginner-friendly and personalized.
Ready to Stretch Smarter?
